In the summer of 2019 our family was afforded a very special experience…a trip to our nation’s capital to celebrate Independence Day. While there we were given VIP access to many of our country's treasures. On the evening of July 3rd we were given a private tour of the Capitol Building with Congressman Louie Ghomert and national historian, David Barton (WallBuilders). It was an experience of a lifetime.

As we stood on the balcony of that historic building, on the eve of our nation's birthday celebration, we heard an orchestra proudly playing the William Tell Overture. In that moment, all I could think was this: If anyone deserved access like this to our nation's most precious treasures, it is America’s Gold Star Families…the families who sacrificed their loved ones in defense of these very treasures.

From the desire to bring this access to these most deserving families, our Gold Star Family Freedom Tours were born. 

In April of 2020 we will host our inaugural tour with visits to Washington DC as well as New York City. We’ll be joined by celebrities, dignitaries, various leaders, and 9/11 families, all of whom wish to thank you, the Gold Star family member, for your tremendous sacrifice.
